There is always something going on.....

Congrats to Janene and Dan on their engagement. Big Hudge Brownie points go out to Dan and his Amazing show of LOVE to Janene and UNDERSTANDING of her true passion for scrapbooking. Dan you single handedly made millions of woman jealous. All the best to both of you. If you didn't know Dan placed this add in Creating Keepsake Magazine for all the world to see. Janene is one of our awesome teachers and she will be teaching her STAR BOOK class on Sunday May 18th at 11:30, the cost is $30.
A week has gone by and we have unpacked our boxes and Lisa has traveled safely back to Texas. Now we are gearing up for the next project.

It has been 2 weeks since my last post and so much has gone on as you can see. The next couple of weeks will be busy too. We have Memory Expo and National Scrapbooking weekend coming up. And next week we have kids camp Tues - Friday. I also wanted to send out a big Thank You to our newest customers that came all the way from England to shop at our store. I had a wonderful time with them and I hope they come back and visit us soon. I know when they get home they will be the envy of all their scrapbooking friends. Maybe they will cross the ocean for one of our crops, and bring their friends, wouldn't that be fun.

I love the way all these new products look. Don't you?
Have agreat weekend and we will see you at the store real soon!!!!

Recovering from another Awesome Retreat

Here is Erica this retreats WINNER of our Big grand prize calling her husband to tell him that she won. She was so excited. Erica have you set up your scraproom yet??
Her prize included beautiful Organizers for her Scraproom plus a Scor-it see the picture below:
Angelia Wigginton was such a great teacher. All of our scrappers had nothing but wonderful things to say about her. We always enjoy having her visit. I can't wait to have to return. We already miss her.
We also had a layout challenge on Saturday. Andrea was our winner, her layout used all the papers that we gave out at the retreat. Her winning layout is below along with her working at her 6ft of work space.
Our next retreat is April 4th-6th and we have Lisa M. Pace coming in April. Save those dates and start planning those pages. I will have more details coming about that in the coming weeks. After the retreat we have empty walls screaming for new stuff. We have boxes arriving and I am trying to put all of our stuff out as fast as I can. Nancy is working on some upcoming classes for the Kids and for Adults. Sue is always working on the weekly e-mails that we send out and the meetup board. Congrats to Deb for starting her own blog http://www.debwisker.typepad.com/ It looks great. Go visit and say Hi.

Angelia Wigginton is back for a second round in January

As we head into the last week before christmas, we start seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. After braving the stores to shop for our families we have wrapped all of our gifts and wait for Christmas. We has so much going on these past weeks. The snow and sleat did not stop us from having our cookie swap and altered receipe box. It didn't stop our delivery truck brining in all of our new acylic albums in from all of our suppliers. This weather certinly didn't stop the staff of the Sheraton Danbury from coming down to bring us presents. We love Chocolate! Thanks Guys. Our registration is open for our January retreats and the Sheraton is holding some rooms for our weary scrappers.
You can go to our website: www.lastingmemoriesscrapbook.com
