Well we really can't complain about the rain today we've had such beautiful weather the last couple of weeks! It's a great day to come on in and crop. We will be holding one tonight from 6 to midnight. So call if your planning to come. Just to clairify the challenge it does not have to be 12x12, but it does have to be two pages. Can't wait to see what you all come up with! Don't forget tomorrow is the kid's class at 10:30. Nancy has a great layout in store for them to create.

All About Me!

At last we have hit our first goal on our message board of 50 members. So to celebrate we are having our first challenge. All About Me Challenge Created by Edith: This is the challenge of all challenges, in fact, the ultimate in challenges!!! We are all responsible for documenting the lives of our loved-ones; the celebrations, the milestones, the adversities… but are we taking on the responsibility to document our own lives? If we don’t, who will? For a lot of scrapbookers, this is uncharted territory. Let’s do this in baby steps. Here’s an All About Me Challenge that I created. In this layout, I spilled my guts about the “naked truth” of me. I focused on my habits…some of them odd, some of them surprising, some of them quirky, but all of them truthful, and all about me! Your challenge is to document some of your habits. You can make this as “pretty” as you’d like, or as “gritty”(revealing your innermost secrets) as you’d like…it just has to be YOU! I'am back!

Well I am back from vacation and I gotta tell you not happy about it! I am trying to get back in the grove and we have lots coming up. First let me start with all the new CHA products. We will start getting in new merchandise by the begining of September. Basic Grey, Karen Foster, Creative Imaginations, Bazzill, Making Memories, Maya Roads, just to name a few! We are very excited about our Summer Blow Out Sale, August 29, 30, 31 & Sept 1. We are clearing out for all the new products. Come check out all the great bargains! Next, get those kids on the bus and come crop with me for free on Sept. 6 & 7 from 9 am to 3 pm. We will supply the coffee and snacks, raffels, fun & friends. Please make sure you call ahead to reserve your spot. We have alot of great classes coming up for kids and adults. We also have several morning classes for those of you who can't get out at night. Check the web-site for times and details. And last but not least our crop retreat weekend in October with Ali Edwards! We have added a class on Friday morning at 10:30 Perspective. Three of the classes are sold out so don't wait if you want to take a class we have women coming from Canada to New Jersey! The crop is about half full and space is limited so call to reserve your spot.

July 26th

Well Barb is back from her vacation and I'am getting ready to leave tomorrow! We have been busy ordering all the new products. Our reps have been coming in with all the new catalogs. Boy is there some really nice new stuff!!!! It should all start shipping in about two weeks, or so they say (ha, ha) we'll see. Don't forget about the Donald layout class with Terri on Thursday July27th. We also have a crop on Friday night. Call Barb if you are going to attend. We are sold out of two classes for Ali Edwards already so if you are interested in taking any you better call soon to make sure you get a spot. You can also sign up for the crop weekend. If you are staying over call the hotel to reserve your room. All the info for the weekend is on our web-site. I will be back on the 14th of August so enjoy! July 21

I hope everyone is sitting by the pool sipping a nice cold drink! Barb is away enjoying her week off. I can't wait until it's my turn to get away. Just in; "A Designer's Eye", by Ali Edwards and "Scrapbooking Challenges" by Elsie Flannigan. Everyone was loving the paper, the concept of the star book and Edith's excellent instruction and creativity. We still have a few seats left for tonights crop, call if you would like to attend. Registration for Ali's classes

Hope everyone had a great weekend and beat the heat by being at a pool or beach! We had a fun time at the all day crop Saturday. It was a small group but they were happy they really were able to spread out. Our next all day crop is September 23rd, 10am-10pm. We have opened up registration for Ali Edwards classes in October. Just go to www.lastingmemoriesscrapbook.com for times and prices. She has homework for you to do so when you register we will e-mail you the homework or you can come to the store for the hand outs. Hope everyone is keeping cool. We have been holding kids camp all week the kids are creating such fun projects! We will be holding the last camp the week of August 8th-11th. We only have a few spots left so call if interested.Tonight is Anna Griffin with Ramona at 7:00. We also have a morning Anna Griffin tomorrow at 9:30 we still have room left in both classes call if interested. Just a reminder this weekend we have a Friday night crop and a Saturday crop from 10am to 10pm. Come to one or both if you choose to come to both you can leave your stuff set up. Friday July 7th

Tomorrow we are having an all day Disney Class. Our students will complete an entire album during the course of one day! Wish us luck!!! If you can, join us on Saturday July 15th from 10 AM to 10 PM for an all day crop. We have space still available so call if you can make it (845-621-3119). Next week the kids will be back for another week of camp Tuesday July 11th-July 14th). The first week was great and the kids loved it. There are a few openings still available if your child is interested. Have a great weekend everybody.
